What intrigues/excites you most about going to Ecuador?

Ecuador is an amazing country.  In the space no larger than the state of Nevada, it packs an incredible amount of diversity in both places and the life found in those places.

What is the best piece of advice/wisdom you’ve ever been given?

“Don’t be right. Love.” I try to keep this phrase at the forefront of my thought in every situation I find myself in.  Who cares about being right in a world without love?

Where is your favorite place you have visited and why?

It is hard to narrow it down to one place.  I have been blessed to have visited many amazing places.  But what makes each of those places amazing is the people that have come into my life through my visiting there.  Which is why I would have to say that Nepal and The Three Sisters organization is at the top of the list.

What makes you most curious (in life, in general)?

What makes me most curious is everything.  I am constantly grateful and amazed at the infinite amount of things there are to ask about.  To be an earnest seeker after Truth seems like a good gig.

What do you love about your work?

I love teaching Philosophy.  Not because I am excited about all the ideas that I get to think about and wrestle with (which I do), but because I love that moment when students discover a new idea that changes the way they look at the world.
