What piece of advice would you give to yourself before the in-country experience?

I would say that I want to be open-minded, be open for new experiences and welcoming of any inspiration or new practices that the country will bring.

Colombia, Mexico, and the US

What has been the most meaningful idea / fact you have discovered or learned about this program so far?

Sharing cultural values with people of different backgrounds, but with the same purpose, has been meaningful. 

What food are you most excited to try in Spain?

Paella

What do you most look forward to during the Spain program?

I’m looking forward to sharing the experience with the other students on the Abroad as well as a lot of personal growth. Growing my international and intercultural empathy and awareness of different cultures around me is important to me. 

What opportunity do you hope this abroad will bring to you?

I hope to get to know myself better, my culture, the Spanish culture, and which traits of it relate to mine. Also, I hope to create and grow friendships with people I meet there.
