Why are you interested in Japan?
Japan is a place that has always intrigued me. I have mostly learned about its history and culture through art, textbooks, movies, friends and family. I would like to see the country with my own eyes and have a personal experience with the place and people.
What are you most looking forward to experiencing/learning in Japan?
I am especially looking forward to our time in Kyoto, a very old city with rich history and incredible sites.
What is your favorite sushi or Japanese food?
I could eat masuro (tuna with rice) or ebi (shrimp with rice) all day but I always look for saba (mackeral) because it’s my favorite! I love green tea (ocha) as well.
