Conrad Bollinger

Conrad-BollingerWhy are you interested in Japan?

My interest stemmed from a young age. I had a couple of Japanese friends growing up who were very proud of their Japanese heritage. One in particular made is his mission to make sure that I was made aware of all the ways in which the Japanese were more advanced than us Americans. More recently my family hosted a Japanese Student who was visiting the United States and throughout many long conversations about Japan my desire to visit grew substantially. I am looking forward to seeing the country for myself and being immersed in a culture that is different from my own.

What are you most looking forward to experiencing/learning in Japan?

I am most looking forward to seeing the Japanese people and discovering all the similarities and differences between the Japanese and Americans.
