Why are you interested in Japan?
For the culture! I think it’ll be really cool to go to a very different culture and be totally caught off guard. Also I’ve had a good exposure to Japanese history and I think Japan is such a unique place that has a lot to offer.
What are you most looking forward to experiencing/learning in Japan?
The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum as of right now. I really want to experience a memorial to a really recent world event and how Japanese society portrays it.
What is your favorite sushi or Japanese food?
I’ve had sushi once so I don’t think I can give a qualified answer.

The idea of ‘place’ will definitely be something I work with in Japan. Knowing that being there and having the experience is exactly what I need to be doing, and that everyone else on the abroad can also have that reassurance.
