Why are you interested in Japan?
I have always been fascinated with the Japanese history and culture since it’s so different than ours here in the U.S. How people interact with each other and the ideology behind the way they act is fascinating and I can’t wait to get an inside look. I’m excited to observe how our cultures compare, especially during our home-stays, when we get to experience it on a very personal level.
What are you most looking forward to experiencing/learning in Japan?
I’m really looking forward to bonding with our group as we experience all these new things together! Learning the language, eating the food, and just living there in general is bound to bring enlightening and self-discovering adventures.
What is your favorite sushi or Japanese food?
I really like any type of eel sushi! The sauce they use with it has a really nice sweet taste.
