What are you most excited to learn and to do while abroad in Scotland & England?

I think what excites me most is the play itself and starting rehearsals. To be honest, I’m not going with a specific objective, simply because I’m very open to everything. Whatever is within our reach to do, I’ll do it.

If you could travel back in time, where and when would you like to go? and why?

I would like to go back to my childhood in Colombia, when I was 4 to 10 years old. Because this was the time when my only worries were choosing between the colors pink and purple, not swallowing the gum inside my candy, not missing my favorite TV shows, and leaving school to see my cats and play with my dolls. Everything was just easier and innocence made everything more pure and lively.

What is your favorite Shakespeare play or character or Shakespeare-inspired film?

I think it would be “Gnomeo & Juliet” for multiple reasons. It was a significant part of my childhood serving as my first introduction to Shakespeare. It was produced by Elton John, and it contained his music. And me being Latin American and having watched it in Spanish, Juliet’s name was translated as “Julieta” and this always made me appreciate the film even more and feel that it was “my” movie.

What is your favorite way to express yourself creatively?

I really enjoy expressing myself through my clothing. I don’t like limiting myself to a single specific style. Instead, I prefer to experiment with different garments, find new ways to use them and wear plenty of jewelry. I feel that this truly reflects my personality, showcases my tastes, and boosts my confidence.
