What are you most excited to learn and to do while abroad in Scotland & England?
I am really excited to witness the growth and the joy in learning, and to get to walk around these cities and villages again, observing and recording.
If you could travel back in time, where and when would you like to go? and why?
That is hard to answer, so I will limit it to the UK. I would dress up like a man and go watch a Shakespeare play at the Globe Theatre on a day he was in attendance, so I can see what that was like, but also have the definitive answer about his identity!
What is your favorite Shakespeare play or character or Shakespeare-inspired film?
Twelfth Night…I have happy memories of seeing college students perform it in Cambridge as a teenager (distinct memories of how much more fun Shakespeare is with British accents, and the use of a shopping cart and someone being careened through the audience in it), and then working on a hilarious production of it at Principia College a few years later. More recently, we worked on a fun musical version, and it was one of my favorite sets to create.
