What are you most excited to learn and to do while abroad in Scotland & England?

I am most excited to learn about the history, art, and Scottish and English cultures. It will be incredible to experience being in the Globe Theatre and the British Library. I am excited to explore the streets where we go, take in the architecture, and go on walks and runs in nature. I can’t wait to try out different cafes, their coffee, their baked goods, and their food in general. I would love to see some horses and highland cows, but not sure how likely that is!

If you could travel back in time, where and when would you like to go? and why?

It’s difficult because most of the things I cherish, running, riding horses, having freedom of speech, all as a woman, would not be things that I have access to the further one goes back in history. Putting those ideas to the side, I would love to travel back to the Georgian era to be able to experience a ball, and the glitz of the ballgown, and how it was to live at a time with no technology. I would love to experience a symphony as well, as I enjoy music, and wouldn’t it be something to listen to Mozart and Beethoven play?

What is your favorite Shakespeare play or character or Shakespeare-inspired film?

I really love the Shakespeare-inspired film, The 10 Things I Hate About You, which is apparently inspired by The Taming of the Shrew (I had no idea!). I also love She’s the Man, which is inspired by Twelfth Night.

What is your favorite way to express yourself creatively?

My favorite way to express myself creatively is through writing.
