How was the Teton Trip started?
The Principia Upper School Teton Trip, also called “Creative Expressions in Nature”, began in 1982 with the vision of a legendary figure from the Upper School’s very own biology department. I am talking about Ted Munnecke, aka “Munn”. If you are a current student of the Principia Upper School, and especially if you want to go on the Teton Trip, you need to know who this guy is. He’s the reason we have this profound learning opportunity.

Why is this trip so important?
“One word: INTERDISCIPLINARY. Write it down.” Munn is the wise old owl who taught us that every subject you study in school is connected to something else. Just like an ecosystem. This trip is all about putting those links together.
