Gear List

Everything on this list should fit into two bags: one big bag which you will check, (a suitcase, frame pack, or duffle bag — must be under a total weight of 50lbs) and one carry-on daypack.

If it doesn’t fit, you packed too much stuff!

Clothing

Head & Hands:

  • one warm winter hat that will cover your ears
  • waterproof gloves or mittens with liners

  • one pair of casual, comfortable pants (for the airplane trips or wearing around the lodge in the evenings)

Feet:

  • at least 3 pairs of wool socks
  • at least 5 pairs of sock liners
  • one pair of warm snow boots (such as Sorrels)

  • a compact set of colors (whatever you are familiar with – colored pencils, acrylics, or watercolors – water-based media – NO OIL PAINTS)

Personal Supplies
You guys all know what you need in the bathroom. Here are a few reminders so you don’t forget any important stuff and end up sharing toothbrushes or something gross like that.

  • toothbrush
  • toothpaste
  • body wash
  • face wash
  • shampoo/conditioner
  • razor
  • deodorant

What NOT to Bring:

  • hair dryer
  • food
  • computer (unless you want it for the airplane)
  • phone (unless you want it for the airplane – it will be taken from you for the week)

Okay, you’re good to go!
