What most excites you about India and Nepal?
I think I am excited for the challenge of being abroad in a country that is so vastly different from the western world. I am looking forward to being immersed in cultures that are so different from what I am comfortable with. I am hoping this “discomfort” will bring about a lot of growth in me individually, and with the group as a whole.
What is important to you?
Family is very important to me. They are what makes attending Principia possible. In my free time I go to the beaches near my house. One of my biggest passions is surfing. However, while being at Principia, I have started taking photos, which is a more realistic hobby while living in the Midwest.
How would you spend your time, if money were no object?
I would want to make sure my family is looked after. Then I would want to buy property in the US by the beach. I would want to buy a nice sailing boat and chase the summer around the world stopping to go surf and hang out.
What do you want to be better at?
Living with less stuff.
