My name is Gabe Keeley and I am a senior in college. I am majoring in Education. I am from Washington D.C. This program will allow me to implement everything I have learned from my Education classes into the trip. I will be able to practice my outdoor leadership skills as well as my teaching skills in one of the most beautiful places on earth! I think that the most important aspects of understanding a place is learning about their history, culture, people, and their environment. I think that one of the most meaningful places for me is camp. I have had many opportunities of growth and have learned much about myself and my character as an educator at camp. Camp has also been a place where I have learned more about my relationship with nature and the outdoors as well as my relationship to God.
