My name is Elliott Matthiesen and I am a senior in college. I am majoring in Engineering Science and Mechanical Engineering. I am from New York, NY. I am intrigued by St. Lucia’s unique environment, biodiversity, and the complex colonial history. I think it is most important to understand the History, manners/etiquette, and goals for the future of another place. The most meaningful place for me is Acadia National Park because it showed me how big the world truly is and how important it is to preserve nature.
