My name is Sean Thornton and I am a senior in college. I am majoring in Outdoor Education. I am from Godfrey, IL. I am intrigued by Outdoor Adventure Education. I think that when beginning to understand a place it is extremely helpful to spend as much time as possible traveling and taking in the physical landscape. After a good connection to physical area has been established and understanding of how oneself moves throughout “the place” then it’s important to understand the meanings and significances of “the place” One of the most meaningful places to me is Camp Owatonna because I’ve experienced a lot of character, metaphysical, and emotional growth that I consider to be core to who I am.
