Final Printmaking Workshop

On Saturday, the 4th and final group of students — Valeria, Klaudija, and Nate — visited printmaker Pavel Piekar in his Hradčanska studio to make lino prints.

Once again, Pavel began by showing the prints that the last group of students made. He also talked about techniques and approaches to lino prints.

Next, Pavel looked at each student’s sketchbook to help them decide which drawing to use for their print.

Then it was time to draw the sketch on the linoleum and carve the surface.
