A list of these tasks might look something like this:\n<ul>\n<li>Decide on a research topic<\/li>\n<li>Make a hypothesis\/thesis<\/li>\n<li>Gather resources (print, online)<\/li>\n<li>Research &amp; gather data<\/li>\n<li>Write intro<\/li>\n<li>Write body paragraphs<\/li>\n<li>Write conclusions<\/li>\n<li>Edit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Write these tasks into your calendar so you have a schedule to hold yourself to.<\/li>\n<li>Meet with a writing tutor to discuss potential topics or how to find resources.<\/li>\n<li>Schedule a meeting with your professor so they can give you feedback on the work you\u2019ve accomplished so far.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But remember, the key to success with long term assignments is to <a href=\"http:\/\/wp.me\/p5DI6r-ye\"><strong><u>\u201cStart Early and Start Often.\u201d<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em> Maddi Demaree is a junior majoring in education and political science.
