How would you describe yourself?

I am a very spiritual individual and enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am open-hearted and very curious. I love to learn new things and have many interests that I am incredibly passionate about.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear French Polynesia?

When I think about French Polynesia, I think about paradise; clear waters, beautiful wildlife, and gorgeous weather.

What do you most look forward to during the French Polynesia program?

I look forward to being close to the sea and discovering all the wildlife, in particular marine life. I am excited to meet locals and experience their long-lived culture, learn their way of life, and enjoy their cuisine.

What has been the most meaningful idea/fact you have discovered or learned about this program so far?

In preparation for my research project about traditional French Polynesian marine conservation strategies, I have learned that Tahitians value and apply their traditions to this day and I am looking forward to experiencing this first hand.

At this point in your life, what is important/meaningful to you?

In the last two years of my life, I have incorporated meditation as a regular part of my life. This practice has helped me become a happier person and naturally see the good in life, even when it at first seems like there is no good. I feel very passionate about inspiring others to take their life and happiness into their own hands and feel the impact that your mindset and attitude has on your entire life. I also love photography, as this art allows me to express my creativity and eye for the beauty life has to offer.
