How would you describe yourself?

I would describe myself as a very fun, loving, caring, outgoing, and curious person. I would say that I am open-minded while still staying true to my beliefs. I am a kind person that loves to learn and get to know people.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear French Polynesia?

When I think of French Polynesia I think of the ocean and a beautiful landscape and a beautiful culture. I think of the colorful skies, flowers, and the all around beauty of the nature on the islands.

What do you most look forward to during the French Polynesia program?

I look forward to meeting the people and getting to know their culture. I also look forward to learning a new language as well as immersing myself in a new environment.

What has been the most meaningful idea/fact you have discovered or learned about this program so far?

The most meaningful idea I have discovered is that pearl jewelry comes directly from the ocean and it is worth so much due to how rare the pearls are.

At this point in your life, what is important/meaningful to you?

At this point in my life what is most important to me is my faith and my relationship with God. I also value family and friendships tremendously and always say “it’s not about where you are or what you’re doing, it is about the people who are with you.”
