How would you describe yourself?
I’d describe myself as someone who’s driven and thoughtful. I’m very curious and enjoy solving problems, especially when the problems require a mix of creativity and analytical thinking. I’m always looking to grow, so I value feedback and seek out opportunities to learn and improve.
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear French Polynesia?
The first thing that came to my mind when looking into this abroad opportunity in French Polynesia was beautiful beaches and awesome surfing.
What do you most look forward to during the French Polynesia program?
What I am looking forward to most in learning about a different culture firsthand along with finding out more about myself.
What has been the most meaningful idea/fact you have discovered or learned about this program so far?
The most meaningful idea that I have learned in our pre-abroad class is that the French Polynesian culture is so rich and deep that the only way to truly understand is to be involved in it.
At this point in your life, what is important/meaningful to you?
At this point in my life as a 20 year old college student the most important aspects of life are family, friends, and finding out who I truly want to be.
