More specifically, I am excited to learn more about&nbsp; the different cultural groups and their motivations for independence in each region.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Where do you most look forward to visiting during our program?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I am looking forward to getting to know the beautiful city of Ljubljana by walking by buildings and bridges we have read about.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>What do you hope to either learn yourself or share with others about world literature (based on what you know so far)?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I hope to reinforce the lesson that every culture has a valuable story to share and there are many areas like Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia that have complex and intriguing stories that have yet to be discovered by the world.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For me, the SloCroBoH Abroad is an opportunity to learn the untold story of the people that used to be united under Yugoslavia and have&nbsp; fought wars, built nations, and set new borders to form new nations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Junior from St. Louis, Missouri, USA Majors: Economics and Global Studies What intrigues\/excites you about the Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia &amp; Herzegovina program?
