I\u2019m fascinated by learning more about countries and cultures I know nothing about! Slovenia definitely fits into those parameters for me because going into this abroad experience I knew next to nothing about it. From what I\u2019ve seen at a short glance, Slovenia is a culture rich with traditions unique to its corner of the world. Not only that, the breathtaking and diverse landscapes look like scene from a fairytale. It\u2019s the adventure of a lifetime.<\/span><\/p>\n It\u2019s a tie between the Soca River and karst caves! As someone who has grown up around mountains, it\u2019s exciting to experience a different type of beauty. If I\u2019m not hiking or mountain biking, I\u2019m most likely doing anything involving water (kayaking, paddle boarding, etc.). The caves will help me get out of my comfort zone, and the river is the perfect destination for my love of the water.
