On Thursday morning, we shared trading cards from our fifth “Prague Is Your Teacher” day.
After trading cards, we met for literature class to finish discussing Ivan Klima’s novel Love and Garbage.
In the afternoon, we returned to the studio to hold one last group critique of the third drawing assignment. Before the critique, we started cleaning up and packing materials to ship back to campus!
Then — the final critique!
Here is a photo of each student’s drawing at the time of the critique. The assignment was to draw either a “transformation in process” or a labyrinth inspired by Prague. In thinking about ideas of “metamorphosis” and “transformation” — which is a key theme of the abroad — students were encouraged to use insect imagery in their drawings.
