Over the past two nights, we attended poetry readings by internationally renowned Czech poet Sylva Fischerová and Michael March, an American poet and founder of the Prague Writers Festival. Organized by the Prague Abroad, these two readings took place at the Globe Bookstore and Cafe in Prague. The Prague Abroad was pleased to offer these two readings to the public.
Here Olivia is introducing Sylva Fischerová.
Here the students are talking with Sylva after her reading.
Before Michael March gave his reading on the following night, we celebrated Nathan’s birthday with dessert.
Happy birthday, Nathan!
