Group Day Trip #1

The “Day Trip” is an assignment in English 243: Theory as Practice on Location where students explore the Czech Republic beyond Prague in small, assigned groups (each group decides together on a location in the Czech Republic). The students can go as far away as they want in the country, as long as they can go and return in a single day.

Last Friday, students traveled by train and bus in small groups to 4 different places. In today’s group meeting, students shared stories from their travels.

Karlštejn Castle

After sharing day trips, students had lunch and then went to the art studio in the afternoon to finish working on the Dripstone Wall drawings, due on October 9.
