A Day at Prague Zoo

The day begins at 8am with a walk along the Vltava river to Rašínovo quay, where we will board a boat to the zoo. On the way to the quay we see the Dancing House designed Vlado Milunić and Frank Gehry.

Early birds abound.

Many will wear sunglasses on the boat.

But not all.

Is the “sketchbook hat” the latest trend?

Motor problems on the boat! Delays! A new boat arrives and we hop on. An hour and a half has passed. We are now at the zoo, where students will sketch and write (with) the animals.

Hroch (hippopotamus)!

Lední medvěd (Polar bear)!

Czech reptiles, also known as “milovníci slunce” (“sun lovers”). Out of office . . .
