At this point in your life, what is important/meaningful to you?
At this point I am choosing which direction I will be going after college. It is very important to me that I follow up on all of the opportunities I have set up for myself over the years so that I can be on a path toward success.
What most intrigues and excites you about the Aotearoa/New Zealand study abroad?
I have loved film making for years now and am very excited to be able to go somewhere with such a strong film making industry. Also, for pretty much my entire life, New Zealand has been the one place that I’ve said I would drop everything to visit.
What is the most meaningful idea you’ve discovered or learned about Aotearoa/New Zealand so far?
I love the mindset that they have toward achieving and maintaining peace. Some of their indigenous religious beliefs are so cool to me in how they express their values.
For me, the Aotearoa/New Zealand abroad is an opportunity to … get experience in my field while abroad. Being thrown into an unfamiliar environment is a challenge and to be given the opportunity to do something I love while being in such an environment is an exciting opportunity.
