What most intrigues and excites you about the Aotearoa/New Zealand study abroad?
I’m super excited about the opportunity to explore media and storytelling in such an interesting place that I’ll be seeing for the first time.
What is the most meaningful idea you’ve discovered or learned about Aotearoa/New Zealand so far?
The story of the preservation of te reo maori has been really interesting to me. The story of a language being preserved can reflect the story of both Aotearoa, and the Maori people, it’s cool that how we choose to express ourselves is a product of everything we were before.
For me, the Aotearoa/New Zealand abroad is an opportunity to … learn more about the world, by visiting a new place, meeting new people, and practicing new skills.
