What has been the most meaningful idea you\u2019ve discovered or learned so far in preparation for your study abroad to Italy\/Malta?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have enjoyed the opportunity to make further connections between Renaissance and Baroque art and how the original locations of the art influenced artistic choices. I have been most inspired by the undaunted nature of many artists and how they embraced challenges and invented creative solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, the Italy\/Malta Study Abroad is an opportunity to\u2026                                                                                                             <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Help students see the way artistic choices, patronage, and location influence the way a story is told.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you want to be better at?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I look forward to improving my understanding of Italian.                                                                          <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does learning about storytelling through art and journalism shape the way you view, and want to engage with, the world?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The themes of many stories are universal, and looking at the art of the past provides an additional perspective as I view today’s world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
