Explore a new culture on a deeper level than just the normal “tourist.” Being on this abroad, I hope to have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the ways in which Italy as a culture lives their lives. As well as how each individual city is unique to itself.
What do you want to be better at?
I want to be better at being present and enjoying the moment soaking in all of the experiences I will be immersed in.
How does learning about storytelling through art and journalism shape the way you view, and want to engage with, the world?
To tell a story is to learn, understand, and know about stories that are known to us. The art of storytelling through art and journalism can engage the world by showing and telling stories in a unique way that can reach multiple people from different perspectives. Stories are everywhere and every story is important and worth telling.
