What has been the most meaningful idea you’ve discovered or learned so far in preparation for your study abroad to Italy/Malta?
The most meaningful concept I have learned so far in preparation for our study abroad was the true creativity employed by artists during the Renaissance. They were not afraid to be bold and change from the popular style of the medieval ages. Rather they sought to create masterpieces that would be remembered for centuries and in doing so they did exactly that.

What do you want to be better at?
I want to grow and deepen in my appreciation for other cultures, learning to assimilate through genuine understanding and exchange experiences with those I meet.
How does learning about storytelling through art and journalism shape the way you view, and want to engage with, the world?
Learning about storytelling has made me consider more closely the intention behind the things I create. It has made me consider the greater impact that our legacy leaves behind and forced me to consider how I want to be remembered by the things I leave behind.
