What are you most interested in learning about while you are in Ireland?
I am most interested in learning about Irish folklore and mythology and how it is entwined in the culture today.
What are you most interested in seeing? Doing?
I am looking forward to hiking and taking in the Irish landscape.
Is there a particular course that you’re excited about? Why?
I am excited about my capstone. It is my final semester as an English major with a focus in creative writing, and I am excited to explore travel writing as I study abroad. I feel that it will be a unique way to take in and process the experience overall, and I will walk away with a really cool creative product at the end.
What is the thing about traveling to a different country that you’re most looking forward to?
I am ready to get out of my comfort zone and travel for an extended period of time. These two months will most definitely be longest that I have been away from my home country, so I am excited to get a small taste of what it would be like to live abroad.
