Gretchen Starr-LeBeau earned her PhD in History from the University of Michigan, and has been teaching history and religious studies at the university level ever since. Her interest in religious conflict in Ireland stretches back to high school, when she invited Bernadette Devlin to speak to her senior class about “The Troubles.” She participated in a study abroad program in Barcelona in 2015 for the Kentucky Institute for International Studies.
