What are you most interested in learning about while you are in Ireland?

I’m most interested in learning about the culture in Ireland and how it differs from the ones I’ve been able to experience before. There’s only so much you can learn about from readings in textbooks and handouts. Experiencing it first hand is how I’ll get the most out of it and I’m excited to see how it all plays out.

What are you most interested in seeing? Doing?

I’m most interested in seeing the cliffs, the castles, and the architecture that’s spread throughout Ireland. I’m excited to adventure around and go on excursions to places across the country, learning more about the culture, the people, and the areas that all contrast with the things I’m used to seeing in the US.

Is there a particular course that you’re excited about? Why?

The course I’m probably most excited about is the creative writing section of this abroad. I’ve always had a love for it and I can’t wait to see how this course and this abroad shapes and tones my skills and my love for the art of writing even more. I know I’ll have the opportunity to express myself in ways I didn’t think possible through creative means that I haven’t yet discovered.

What is the thing about traveling to a different country that you’re most looking forward to?

I’m looking forward to the adventure that awaits. The sights, sounds, and smells that are found over there will be so different than what I’m used to. I want to immerse myself in the culture, get to know what it’s like to live in a foreign place, and really learn more about myself as I move through this new journey with this amazing group of people.
