Resident Counselor
I am a Principia alumnus who works not only as Resident Counselor in Lowrey House but also as Residence Director in Student Life. I am an avid traveler, having made multiple trips to destinations in Europe, as well as going on an abroad to China as a Prin student. In my previous career as a teacher in Los Angeles, I traveled with middle school and high school students to Europe several times, to England, France, Italy, and Greece. And while my dual role on the Iceland abroad is to spiritually support the students and assist the trip leader with logistical matters, the delight of doing so while walking glaciers, sea kayaking, and hearing student insights on the environment will be an added bonus. I can’t think of a better way to experience the wonder of a new land than with other curious and like-minded travelers.
