I would describe myself as a fun and caring person who likes to be active in the outdoors as much as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which Greek deity to you most identify with and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hermes is the deity I most identify with because of the associations with movement, shepherding, mediation, and with traveling across boundaries.  And as a track coach and runner, I like his winged sandals. I’ll try to buy a pair in Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you most look forward to during the Greece program?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I look forward to getting to know everyone better and experiencing Greece together.  I’m excited about learning about philosophy in the context of modern day Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What has been the most meaningful idea\/fact you have learned in this program so far?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am enjoying exploring the origins of thought and meaning. I love the theme of Logos for this program because it encourages us to question our understanding and see the world from different foundations of thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this point in your life, what is important\/meaningful to you?<\/strong>The most important thing to me at this point in my life is family.  Family is at the center of my life, and I like to think of family as the expansive circle of people that help us find meaning in the world. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
