How would you describe yourself?
I value learning, connection, and fairness, and I’m exploring how to live these values in all areas of my life.
Which Greek deity to you most identify with and why?
I would say Selene, the goddess of the Moon. The cyclical nature of the Moon marks the passage of time in a steady rhythm, navigating the world often unseen, but always returning.
What do you most look forward to during the Greece program?
I look forward to seeing how my expectations, opinions, and knowledge are challenged through my engagement with the environment and locals in Greece.
What has been the most meaningful idea/fact you have learned in this program so far?
Learning Greek has shown me how beautifully layered a single word can be, like ‘pneuma,’ which means both ‘wind’ and ‘spirit,’ reflecting the ancient belief that the soul is like breath—both invisible and life-giving.
At this point in your life, what is important/meaningful to you?
The events unfolding in the world remind me of how fragile peace, freedom, and trust are, and I feel an urgent need to cherish and protect these values.
