How would you describe yourself?
I’d describe myself as a down-to-earth person who loves reading, thinking, reflecting, and learning. I find so much joy in spending time outside, staying active, and listening to others 🙂
Which Greek deity to you most identify with and why?
Persephone is the goddess of both spring and the underworld. I resonate with this dualistic approach to my own personality. While people often see me as empathetic, idealistic, and compassionate, I am also very strategic, intuitive, and creative. Much like persephone, I see myself as a humble and quiet leader, adaptable to change and motivated to get others to see their full potential.
What do you most look forward to during the Greece program?
I am excited to explore the places where Greek philosophy originated and make unforgettable memories along the way!
What has been the most meaningful idea/fact you have learned in this program so far?
This program has taught me the importance of deeply thinking about questions we ignore… For example, in class we’ve been exploring ἀρχή οὐσία (arche ousia or prime substance).
At this point in your life, what is important/meaningful to you?
The most important thing to me right now is continuing to build, grow, and cherish the meaningful relationships around me.
