What intrigues\/excites you most about going to Ecuador?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Andes mountains\u2014hands down! Me encanta monta\u00f1as! I am also very excited to interact with indigenous communities in the highlands, and help with research at the Tiputini Biodiversity Station in the Amazon rainforest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n How many countries have you been to up until this point and which ones?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Two outside of the United States. I\u2019ve been to Guatemala and Iceland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What lights your fire and gets you fully engaged in life?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Being out in nature. I find that I\u2019m most present and alive when I\u2019m out in the woods, on a hike, or camping by a fire. Life becomes much simpler there, and the conversations even more enjoyable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Share a little about your family.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n I have a loving Mom and Dad, who recently moved to Saint Charles, Missouri, where my Mom works at the Upper School. I have two brothers, one older (Alex), and one younger (Cole) who goes to the Upper School, and finally a younger sister (Kassie) who just started her first year of college here at Prin. We are a bit loud and rambunctious, and drive each other crazy, but our love for each other is wholehearted!<\/p>\n\n\n\n What\u2019s your favorite book and why?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n My favorite book is Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand about Louie Zamperini, a former Olympian and WWII veteran who miraculously survived a plane crash and prison camps through the war. I love how captivating the story is, I felt compelled to read the book from start to finish.
