{"id":3218,"date":"2019-01-31T19:00:30","date_gmt":"2019-01-31T19:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/content.principia.edu\/sites\/acorn\/?p=3218"},"modified":"2019-01-31T19:53:30","modified_gmt":"2019-01-31T19:53:30","slug":"roll-it-down-the-ramp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/content.principia.edu\/sites\/acorn\/2019\/01\/31\/roll-it-down-the-ramp\/","title":{"rendered":"Roll It Down the Ramp"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Materials:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ramp<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Basket of items to roll down the ramp: balls, blocks, small cars, plastic jars, paper tubes (i.e., toilet paper) large beads, plastic rings, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Instructions:\u00a0<\/strong>Set up a ramp for your little one.\u00a0 It can be a board resting on a stool, or even a piece of cardboard elevated on another box.\u00a0Place the basket of items by the top of the ramp.\u00a0Choose something from the basket and roll it down the ramp.\u00a0Invite your child to do the same.\u00a0He might need some guidance with some of the items, for example, the plastic rings.\u00a0When we tried this activity at school, one of the boys took a ring and tried to skim it down the ramp.
