Ingredients<\/h2>\n

4 tablespoons of sugar
\n1\/2 cup cornstarch
\n2 cups cold water
\n2 tablespoons liquid dish soap
\nContainers
\nFood coloring*<\/p>\n

* (You can use liquid watercolors, too, but I\u2019ve had better luck getting vibrant colors with paste food colors.)<\/p>\n

Instructions<\/h2>\n

  1. Stir the sugar and cornstarch together in a small saucepan.<\/li>\n
  2. Add 2 cups of water and stir over medium heat until the mixture thickens.<\/li>\n
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.<\/li>\n
  4. Stir in dish soap.<\/li>\n
  5. Divide into containers and add food coloring as desired.<\/li>\n
