Break Resident Counselor, Upper School Dormitories
- Full-time, seasonal position starting December '22
Summary: Provides care for international students during winter break (3 weeks) and spring break (2 weeks) and 3 weeks at the beginning of the summer. Creates a home-like environment for students. Provides character education for students; guides and supports students’ spiritual growth. Position includes living and working in the dorm and collaborates with the Home Department team. Full-time seasonal position, 8 weeks per year, non-benefit eligible position.

Chief Advancement, Marketing and Communications Officer
- Full-time, 12-month position starting as soon as possible
Your Impact
As the Chief Advancement, Marketing and Communications Officer for The Principia, you will provide innovative leadership and strategic vision to all aspects of The Principia’s external outreach and marketing efforts. You will be directly responsible for successfully creating, leading and implementing an integrated resource development and marketing strategy, focusing on these key objectives:
• Developing new donor and partner relationships, while maintaining existing ones to build the organization’s visibility, impact and financial resources
• Supporting both campuses in their marketing to prospective students, parents and key stakeholders

Christian Science Nurse - Weekends
- Part-time, school-year position starting as soon as possible
Summary: On-call (and within 30-minute response time) for CS nursing calls for Principia School students from 8:00 am Saturday to 11:00 pm Sunday each weekend during the School weeks and August sports camp. Present and on-campus during all Principia athletic, social, and active student events. Provides professional oversight of all Christian Science nursing cases and care facilities when on shift. Partners with Student Health Care team on a variety of student care situations. Stays within the Scope of Services for Christian Science Nurse as maintained by The Mother Church.

Minimum Qualifications:

HVAC Technician
- Full-time, 12-month position starting as soon as possible
Summary: Requires journeyman-level skills in HVAC and Energy Management Systems (Andover); primary responsibilities include, but not limited to, troubleshooting, repairing, performing preventative maintenance, configuring and advising on new installations of HVAC systems; works closely with mechanical/electrical/plumbing trades and performs repairs on other mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems as needed. Full-time.

Work Performed: Essential Duties*
• Uses approved industry techniques for troubleshooting, repairing, performing preventative maintenance, installing new HVAC systems and utilizing Andover control system per industry standards and codes
• Responsible for completing preventive maintenance as assigned and scheduled
• Works closely with mechanical/electrical/plumbing trades and assists as needed
• Proactively monitors and adjusts HVAC systems as dictated by program, weather conditions and energy management policy
• Troubleshooting, repairing, preventative maintenance, and installation of other mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems
• Capable of safely and professionally operating trade-related equipment and tools
• Ability to work in and around high voltage electrical distribution systems
• Responsible for the cleaning, painting and general housekeeping of spaces assigned to the engineers including pump rooms, boiler rooms, air handler rooms, storage areas, engineers’ shop spaces and assigned vehicle
• Follows and adheres to industry safety standards, OSHA standards and Principia safety policies
• Performs on-call duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum three years experience working in HVAC maintenance field and/or technical certificate with proven successful record
• Universal EPA refrigerant certification required
• Boiler License or EPA certification is a plus.
• Must pass physical with no physical limitations on bending, stooping, climbing, walking and lifting
• Current infraction-free driver’s license required
• Must work directly and amiably with coworkers and customers
• Self-motivated and able to work alone without supervision
• Effective computer proficiency using Microsoft Office suite
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Working knowledge of Andover Energy Management systems is preferable & EcoStruxure is a plus
• Britely/Asset Essentials Work Order system used for work order management and preventative maintenance is a plus

Environmental Demands:
• Physical Requirements –
o Must be able to individually lift a minimum of 50 lbs and be able to, with assistance, move and transport materials and equipment weighing in excess of 200 lbs
o Must be able to work in confined spaces requiring bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and be able to work from ladders, scaffolding, or elevated equipment
• Work Environment –
o Electrician’s work covers the full spectrum of buildings and activities, including educational facilities, labs, dormitories, and offices, as well as shop, power generation and heating/cooling facilities
o Work can be out of doors in high heat and humidity or below freezing temperatures

Marketing Photographer

The Marketing Photographer works as a key member of the Shared Services Marketing team to produce compelling and impactful photography that captures the spirit of Principia students and educators in action, illustrating the Principia story through a lens of visual authenticity. Summary: The Principia is searching for a versatile writer and editor to produce a variety of content, ranging from promotional copy to journalistic reporting. School Marketing Coordinator

Summary: Principia seeks an enthusiastic, diligent and detailed-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join the School Marketing & Communications (MARCOM) team. This position will work with the marketing staff who drive compelling and engaging marketing and communication efforts aimed at our target audiences. Primary duties include supporting the school’s marketing and communications efforts, coordinating projects, and helping to develop content all in support of the institutions and school’s goals.

Responsible for coordinating and guiding the school’s MARCOM projects with internal constituents and teams from start to finish; provide support to internal and external constituents, including monitoring project timelines and communications, tracking and reporting on status updates, assisting with quality assurance, managing the School’s email communications process, and providing support to the MARCOM team on various tasks, projects, and programs. Research and support marketing and communication opportunities, as well as monitor marketing trends and opportunities for innovation.

Summary:
Provides visual design support for Principia’s Shared Services Marketing Department that is professional, engaging, and adheres to Principia's visual brand; handles a variety of design projects, including web, email, print, promotional materials, and signage; works closely with the Creative Director and other creative team members to develop design solutions that address client needs. Academic Success Coordinator
- Full-time, 12-month position beginning as soon as possible.
Summary: Utilizes professional knowledge and skills to assess and address the diverse needs of Principia College students. Designs, implements, oversees, and evaluates student programming that supports accessibility to learning. Works closely with the Faculty Development Director to support faculty programming related to student accessibility to learning. Coordinates academic accessibility services for students by partnering with students to identify barriers to learning and implement plans for access. Assists Admissions Committee by informally assessing identified applicants’ educational needs and making recommendations about necessary resources and supports. Advises new students about Principia’s academic requirements and campus resources.

Admissions Counselor

Admissions Data Manager

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Dean of Admissions, the Admissions Data Manager is responsible for all facets of the admissions processes for Principia College, including prospective student communications and application processing. The Admissions Data Manager serves as the functional lead for the Slate CRM application.

Campus Security Office Manager-Principia College

Summary: Serves the community from the Campus Security office at the service window and receives and responds to callers; responsible for administrative office procedures; serves at gatehouse on occasion as needed for breaks and substitutes. Works independently in a fast-paced, busy environment and must be able to prioritize and monitor work flow in order to meet deadlines unassisted.

Campus Security Officer

Summary of responsibilities: This position serves the Principia community, guests and the visiting public through upholding Principia’s standard of safety and security, while prayerfully and metaphysically supporting campus safety and security. The Security Officer is responsible for providing a security presence and monitoring traffic, events, and the activities of people on campus, while attending and maintaining professional training and standards in accordance with departmental requirements. It is the duty of this position to respond to and assist the Principia community, visiting public and/or the police with security matters and/or emergencies. Collections and Instruction Librarian

Summary: This individual will work collaboratively as a team member to maintain excellence in library collections, services, and programs. This position will provide guidance regarding development, assessment, management, and promotion of user-centered, holistic collections to meet the current and emerging information needs of the Principia College community. They will participate in the library's delivery of research and course-related instructional services as needed. They will serve as liaison to selected academic disciplines and develop subject-focused research LibGuides. Minimum Qualifications:

Financial Aid Counselor

Summary: The Financial Aid Counselor reports directly to management within the Office of Financial Aid at Principia College. This position performs an integral role in providing superior customer service to all internal and external stakeholders. The counselor role conducts evaluations to assess financial need and aid eligibility for undergraduate students and families. This position is also the initial contact for students and families who may have questions, need to drop off documents, inquire about the status of their financial aid, or any other general inquiries. Performing Arts Office Manager and Floating Administrative Support

Projects and Rental Housing Manager

Summary: This position is responsible for managing the college’s rental houses (40) and apartments buildings (3 buildings with 8 units each), associated parking, garages, and grounds. Rental Housing is located on the campus core and in adjacent off-campus core areas. Senior Security Officer

Summary of responsibilities: This position serves the Principia community, guests, and the visiting public through upholding Principia’s standard of safety and security. The Security Officer is responsible for providing a security presence and monitoring traffic, events, and the activities of people on campus, while attending and maintaining professional training and standards in accordance with departmental requirements. It is the duty of this position to respond to and assist the Principia community, visiting public and/or the police with security matters and/or emergencies. The ideal candidate needs 3-5 plus years of progressive and certified experience in law enforcement, fire protection or the US military, with an emphasis on training others in those fields. The candidate should express good judgment, is detail oriented, respects and maintains confidentiality, and displays a strong sense of principle and integrity, along with a high comfort level working with a diverse campus population and having frequent public contact. Provide training to Campus Security Staff in areas of experience including but not limited to; First Aid, emergency response, active shooter, traffic control, report writing, tactical communications, mental health response or drug/alcohol abuse recognition.
