Christian Science Nurse - Weekends
- Part-time, school-year position starting as soon as possible
Summary: On-call (and within 30-minute response time) for CS nursing calls for Principia School students from 8:00 am Saturday to 11:00 pm Sunday each weekend during the School weeks and August sports camp. Present and on-campus during all Principia athletic, social, and active student events. Provides professional oversight of all Christian Science nursing cases and care facilities when on shift. Partners with Student Health Care team on a variety of student care situations. Stays within the Scope of Services for Christian Science Nurse as maintained by The Mother Church.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Active (or pending within one year) membership in The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and/or in a Journal-listed branch church or society of The First Church of Christ, Scientist
• Christian Science class instruction
• Journal-listing as a Christian Science nurse
• Graduation from a Christian Science Nurses’ Training Program
• Experience in CS Nursing at a summer camp

Custodian / Heavy Housekeeper
- Full-time, 12-month position starting as soon as possible
Summary:
Performs manual work involving cleaning and care of campus buildings.

Work Performed: Essential Duties*
• Empties trash and recycling containers
• Assist with the moving and set up dorm and office furniture
• Set up tables/chairs for different activities in accordance with job ticket
• Strips, recoats, spray buffs, dust/wet mops floors
• Vacuums, extracts, bonnet upholstery furniture and carpet floors
• Cleans windows inside and out
• Clean ceiling light fixtures in classrooms, halls, etc
• Fill in for other crew member when required
• Performs other such duties that may be assigned

Minimum Requirements:
• Two years’ experience in general custodial work.
• Working knowledge of the basic methods, materials, and equipment used in assigned work.
• Ability to understand and follow general instructions.
• Ability to operate and use cleaning equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time.
• General knowledge of related jobs in the organization
• Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Requires versatility and ability to work in harmony with others including tenants, other members of the staff and fellow workers.
• Ability to drive Principia vehicles safely and
• Transport/use moderately heavy items such as vacuum cleaners, pails of water, etc.

Rental Housing and Projects Manager - STL
- Full-time, 12-month position starting as soon as possible
Summary: This position is responsible for managing the school’s rental houses (40), executive houses (2) and apartment buildings (4 buildings with 3 to 4 units each), associated parking, garages, and grounds. Rental Housing is located on the campus core and in adjacent off-campus core areas. This work includes communicating with tenants, managing the rental housing budget, using a work order system for tickets and preventative maintenance, identifying, scheduling, and resolving issues with building and grounds such as cleanings, repairs, inspections, and maintenance, and self-performing this work as needed, or with Facilities trades and local contractors. This position also manages operational projects as assigned and serves on the monthly on-call duty rotation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have practical experience in property management.

Summary: Has the passion and skillset to invoke student interest and ownership, incorporates real-life situations where appropriate, and demonstrates an awareness of the needs of the 21st-century learner. Actively engages in professional learning opportunities as an individual and with colleagues. Summary: The Marketing and Communications Department videographer/editor plays a vital role in telling the Principia story through professional, creative, and compelling videos. Responsible for the creation of news and marketing videos that highlight a range of activities at Principia School and College, and for various client departments. This position calls for demonstrable knowledge of video recording/editing/lighting equipment and procedures, strong people skills, and the ability to work independently.

Academic Assessment Manager
- Full-Time, 12-month position, beginning as soon as possible
Summary: This position manages and maintains the online assessment system (Portfolio) used to collect, assess, and archive student work as a part of our assessment of student learning. This position is expected to work closely with academic departments and the Institutional Research Officer to ensure that the College is effectively assessing student learning as expected by the Higher Learning Commission, Principia College’s accreditation body.

Academic Success Coordinator

Summary: Utilizes professional knowledge and skills to assess and address the diverse needs of Principia College students. Designs, implements, oversees, and evaluates student programming that supports accessibility to learning. Works closely with the Faculty Development Director to support faculty programming related to student accessibility to learning. Coordinates academic accessibility services for students by partnering with students to identify barriers to learning and implement plans for access. Assists Admissions Committee by informally assessing identified applicants’ educational needs and making recommendations about necessary resources and supports. Advises new students about Principia’s academic requirements and campus resources.

Admissions Counselor

Admissions Data Manager

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Dean of Admissions, the Admissions Data Manager is responsible for all facets of the admissions processes for Principia College, including prospective student communications and application processing. The Admissions Data Manager serves as the functional lead for the Slate CRM application.

Athletics Graduate Assistant
- Part-time, 9-month position beginning August 2021.
Summary: The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach works in close association with other sport coaches to develop systematic training programs for both teams and individual athletes to increase their athletic performance in specific sports. This is accomplished by developing the strength, speed, flexibility, or endurance, of student-athletes depending on the needs or the requirements of the sport. Campus Security Officer

Summary of responsibilities: This position serves the Principia community, guests and the visiting public through upholding Principia’s standard of safety and security, while prayerfully and metaphysically supporting campus safety and security. The Security Officer is responsible for providing a security presence and monitoring traffic, events, and the activities of people on campus, while attending and maintaining professional training and standards in accordance with departmental requirements. It is the duty of this position to respond to and assist the Principia community, visiting public and/or the police with security matters and/or emergencies. Collections and Instruction Librarian

Director of Faculty Development

Summary: This position supports faculty in their professional growth as educators by providing opportunities to develop pedagogical and andragogical knowledge and skills. Event Support Manager
- Full-time, 12-month position beginning as soon as possible.
Summary:The Event Support Manager provides technical support for a wide range of campus events from official ceremonies and high profile guest speakers to individual student capstone presentations. The person in this position must have the technical knowledge, professional experience, and managerial skills to run the extensive and varied event support operation at the college. This includes knowing how to select, set up, operate, normalize, maintain, transport, store, retire, and upgrade the department’s million dollar plus inventory of audio, video presentation, streaming, performance lighting, and associated equipment. It includes hiring, training, scheduling, and managing others in the performance of those tasks. It includes being a resource for students, staff, and faculty who need this kind of technical assistance in their individual or departmental operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Projects and Rental Housing Manager
- Full-time, 12-month position beginning as soon as possible.
Summary: This position is responsible for managing the college’s rental houses (40) and apartments buildings (3 buildings with 8 units each), associated parking, garages, and grounds. Rental Housing is located on the campus core and in adjacent off-campus core areas. This work includes: communicating with tenants; managing the rental housing budget; using a work order system for tickets and preventative maintenance; identifying, scheduling, and resolving issues with building and grounds such as cleanings, repairs, inspections, and maintenance, and self-performing this work as needed, or with Facilities trades and local contractors. This position also manages operational and capital projects as assigned, and serves on the monthly on-call duty rotation.

Senior Security Officer

Summary of responsibilities: This position serves the Principia community, guests, and the visiting public through upholding Principia’s standard of safety and security. The Security Officer is responsible for providing a security presence and monitoring traffic, events, and the activities of people on campus, while attending and maintaining professional training and standards in accordance with departmental requirements. It is the duty of this position to respond to and assist the Principia community, visiting public and/or the police with security matters and/or emergencies. The ideal candidate needs 3-5 plus years of progressive and certified experience in law enforcement, fire protection or the US military, with an emphasis on training others in those fields. The candidate should express good judgment, is detail oriented, respects and maintains confidentiality, and displays a strong sense of principle and integrity, along with a high comfort level working with a diverse campus population and having frequent public contact. Provide training to Campus Security Staff in areas of experience including but not limited to; First Aid, emergency response, active shooter, traffic control, report writing, tactical communications, mental health response or drug/alcohol abuse recognition.

Minimum Qualifications:
3-5 years of a certified background in law enforcement, fire protection or US military; This experience includes certification in training others for emergency response or other related fields, with trainer certification preferred.; Ability to become proficient in all Campus Security related systems, including electronic locks, keycards and video surveillance; Must have a valid driver’s license; Ability to pass police/agency background security check and to pass police/security professional training course(s); Pay would be based on certified experience and training, to meet the above listed qualifications
