Don&#8217;t let frigid digits ruin your adventure!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Top:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>one waterproof outer shell jacket with a hood<\/li>\n<li>2-3 insulating layers (polyester fleece, wool sweaters &#8211; NOT COTTON)<\/li>\n<li>a couple of comfortable long sleeved shirts to wear when you are not in the field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Bottom:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>one pair of waterproof snow pants (snowboarding pants with cargo pockets are great)<\/li>\n<li>one pair of casual, comfortable pants (for the airplane trips or wearing around the lodge in the evenings)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Feet:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>at least 3 pairs of wool socks<\/li>\n<li>at least 5 pairs of sock liners<\/li>\n<li>one pair of warm snow boots (such as Sorrels)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Body:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>enough underwear for a 6 day trip<\/li>\n<li>2+ sets of silk or capilene long underwear (tops &amp; bottoms)<\/li>\n<li>jammies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Gear<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>sleeping bag<\/li>\n<li>fitted twin sheet for under sleeping bag<\/li>\n<li>pillow case&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>flashlight with batteries (headlamps are great)<\/li>\n<li>sunscreen<\/li>\n<li>lip protection (chapstick or something with a decent SPF)<\/li>\n<li>water bottle<\/li>\n<li>camera<\/li>\n<li>small binoculars (optional, but useful)<\/li>\n<li>Bible Lesson<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Art &amp; Writing Supplies<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>RA Journal&nbsp;(waterproof bag for journal is not a bad idea)<\/li>\n<li>a couple of pencils<\/li>\n<li>eraser<\/li>\n<li>a few pens you like to write with &#8211; at least one black (supplied)<\/li>\n<li>a compact set of colors (whatever you are familiar with &#8211; colored pencils, acrylics, or watercolors &#8211; water-based media &#8211; NO OIL PAINTS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Personal Supplies<\/b><br \/>\nYou guys all know what you need in the bathroom.
