Why Slovenia?
Because it’s new and an opportunity for me to challenge myself with something completely different and well outside of my comfort zone.
What Slovenian landscape feature are you most excited to see, and why?
A tossup between the Julian Alps and the Adriatic Sea coast because both will be brand new to me. I’ve lived in St. Louis for my entire life, so I’ve never been in the mountains or on a coastline, so seeing some of the most beautiful mountains and coastlines in the world is something I’m very much looking forward to.
