What is the most important or powerful thing the arts have given you?
The most powerful thing the arts have given me is an idea as to where I am to go next. I don’t know if there will ever be any final destination, nor if there ever has been, but the journey has given me a purpose, and that has kept me moving forward.
Where do you find home in art? Define home and how you will take it with you.
Home seems to be wherever it is I find myself, and art seems to be a consistent method of finding that self. There are times when I occupy this home, and there are more often times where I find myself having to seek it out again, but there always comes with it this whisper that says “Yes, I am here.” I will take this sense of home with me by continually listening for that voice and following where it leads me.
