The culture is so different from our own and is such an elegant blend between old and new. I&#8217;m in love with the language (I think it has a beautiful rhythm to it) and the people seem so genuine and honest. I could go on and on but that would probably get boring.<\/p>\n<p><em>What are you most looking forward to experiencing\/learning in Japan?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Everything!\u00a0I just want to soak it all up!<\/p>\n<p>What is your favorite sushi or Japanese food?: I&#8217;m kind of new to sushi but I really love miso soup and calamari (which honestly surprised me because I figured I&#8217;d be the last person to like squid&#8211;I&#8217;m sorry squidward!).<\/p>\n<p><em>Please share a metaphysical quote or idea that will help you in preparation for and participation on this program:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In preparing for this trip and dealing with the occasional butterflies I feel, I&#8217;ve thought about how there is no outcome but the divine outcome, and no plan but the divine plan.
